How to care for your alpaca socks?
How to care for your alpaca socks.
Alpaca socks are a must-have in your wardrobe, offering comfort and warmth. To make sure they last as long as possible, it’s important to take proper care of them.
- If you need to wash your alpaca socks, do it gently. We recommend hand washing them in cold water using soft detergent. Don’t use softeners or bleach because they can damage the alpaca fiber. If you prefer the machine washer, use cold water. If you have any stains, soak the socks in cold water with a small amount of detergent before washing.
- After washing, squeeze the excess water laying them flat on a clean towel to absorb more moisture.
- Store your alpaca socks in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. An extra tip is using lavender sachets in your storage area.
- Over time alpaca socks may lose some of their initial softness. To restore them you can use a soft clothing brush or comb to fluff up the fibers.
Proper use and maintenance would help your alpaca socks extend their life and keep them looking and feeling great.
