Empowering Artisans Communities and Promoting Traditions to Inspire Consumers with our Mission
This letter comes from Kathryn at Yaya’s, one of the many cherished customers who have supported us through the years. Her kindness reminds us why we remain devoted to the artisans, farmers, and loyal employees whose hands and hearts shape every piece we offer. Kathryn’s words inspire us and reaffirm our mission: to honor and uplift artisans by providing steady, sustainable work that allows their traditions to thrive, all while keeping their craftsmanship accessible without ever compromising quality.
2026 Happy New Year - with Gratitude
Dear Michel,
We are ever so grateful to have found you and to have shared this past year (and more) with such remarkable families and artisans. It has truly been an honor to work alongside you and to witness the care, dedication, and heart you pour into everything you do with alpaca fleece and your community.
We hold special appreciation for the quiet, thoughtful work that happens long after shearing day—the patient hands that sort each fleece, the careful eyes that grade and prepare it, and the skilled craftsmanship that transforms raw fiber into something truly beautiful. Every step reflects respect for the alpaca, for the fiber they gift us, and for the tradition you so lovingly carry forward.
Because of this partnership, we have been able to share a new message here—one that speaks of craftsmanship, connection, and community. You have shown us, and so many others, what is possible when a mother’s gift and dream are nurtured, honored, and carried forward with care and intention. The community you have built is nothing short of inspiring.
We look ahead with full hearts and great excitement for the years to come. It is our hope to continue working together, supporting your dream as it grows, and weaving it beautifully with our own.
Thank you for your trust, your artistry, and the countless unseen hours that make such meaningful work possible. We are deeply grateful to walk this path with you.
With sincere gratitude,
Kathryn Blandin and Karl Blandin
And the Alpacas too!
