Product Description

The most famous of all of the Andean instruments!  Ocarinas are the oldest known instrument in the Americas and were used in the pre-Hispanic times as a means of communication through the mountain valleys, herding llamas, and making traditional music.  Molded from clay and handpainted with the Pisac designs of ancient Peru.

  1. Lanyards lacking 3 Star Review

    I opened packages to add lanyards. Discovered that the finish on painted detail was flat on the 3" and 2.5" Ocarina whistles; only shiny on the "mini" size [I bought five of each]. Did a glazing step get skipped. With lanyards and glazing these would be a 5 instead of a 3.
